- 400g chow mein noodles

- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

- 300g button mushrooms, sliced

- 4 cloves garlic, minced

- 4 tablespoons soy sauce

- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar

- 1 teaspoon agave syrup

- 2 spring onions, sliced



1. Cook the chow mein noodles according to the package instructions. Drain, rinse under cold water, and set aside.

2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.

3. Add the sliced mushrooms to the pan and cook until they release their juices and become brown, about 5 minutes.

4. Combine the soy sauce, rice vinegar, and agave syrup in a bowl. Stir well to combine.

5. Pour this sauce over the sautéed mushrooms and garlic, stirring to coat evenly.

6. Add the cooked chow mein noodles to the pan and toss until well combined and heated through.
