Our story

Plantiful Palate began with a notebook on a kitchen counter and the kind of dinners that teach you how to taste. Our founder grew up in a lacto-vegetarian household where every evening was a small masterclass in cooking by feel. Spices bloomed until fragrant, yoghurt softened heat without dulling it, and vegetables were treated like the main event. There were no secret chef tricks, just patient layering, a squeeze of lemon at the end, and a belief that good food is generous.

 

Those quiet lessons became a habit. After long days, we cooked to unwind, scribbled timings and textures in the margins, and shared bowls with friends who wanted the recipe and the confidence to make it themselves. One recipe turned into many, and the notebook became Plantiful Palate, a place where anyone can find vegan recipes and lacto-vegetarian recipes that really work.
